ROBBIE HARRIS

In 2004 he and Dave Boyd conceived, directed and composed Elements a percussion show for The Ark, Dublin. As director of The Rhythm Corporation he has led a twenty strong drum corps at International sports events in Croke Park and Aviva Stadium Dublin. He was Musical Director with St Patrick’s Festival’s in house production City Fusion, a massive piece of street theatre with 250 performers from 30 different countries; City Fusion went on to win The Best Pageant Award in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

DAVE MCFARLANE

With over 12 years’ experience in facilitating Drumming workshops and events around the world with his company Teamsamba, Dave also co runs the award winning events company, The Rhythm Corporation. He has organized entertainment at many events including, all Rugby Internationals since 2007, many different types of gala nights, while constantly promoting live music and bespoke entertainment around the country.

STEVE LYNCH (Stellarsound) – www.stellarsound.ie

Steve Lynch has been composing for television and film since 2004. His award winning work can be heard on countless commercials, short films and documentaries that have been shown both nationally and around the world. Notable work includes a hit cover of David Bowie’s Let’s Dance for Ballygowan, music for the upcoming series The Irish Secret Millionaire and a two-hour score for Cromwell in Ireland, recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra. Globe is his first foray into composing for live theatre.

Mark’s designs in Ireland include works for Irish Modern Dance Theatre, Cois Ceim, Dance Theatre of Ireland, The Peacock, Fíbín, Hands Turn, Classic Stage Ireland, Barabbas, Holocaust Memorial Day at The Waterfront, Vesuvius, The Ark, Guna Nua, The Civic, Fishamble, Peer to Peer, Theatre Lovett and Barnstorm. In England his lighting designs included work for Nigel Charnock, Emilyn Claid, Ricochet, Small Axe, Gaby Agis, Sadler’s Wells, The Royal Ballet, Sherman Theatre and Soho Theatre Companies.  He has also lit many music, entertainment and corporate events for High Resolution Lighting.

TIM REDFERN

Tim Redfern is a video artist, designer & researcher based in Dublin. Creating custom software & electronics for projections, interactives and lighting installations, Tim has worked with theatre companies, choreographers, and electronic musicians such as Roger Doyle, Nina Hynes, Decal and Ambulance. Tim’s work has shown at ICA (UK), Baltic (UK), Art Futura (ES), Garage Festival (DE), Darklight (IRL), and on Creative Review Magazine (UK) DVD.

Having previously worked with Robbie Harris on the acclaimed ‘Elements’, Kevin is delighted to return on sound for ‘Globe’.

Most recently he has worked on contemporary dance production ‘Nochtú’, The Russian State Ballet’s ‘Giselle’ and ‘Swan Lake’ at Grand Canal Theatre, and Bull Alley Theatre Co’s. production of ‘Company’. He designed sound for the comedy musical ‘I, Keano’, has toured extensively with ‘Riverdance’ and currently works as the show’s production sound co-ordinator.

IAN MCFARLANE

Ian has over 13 years experience in the advertising industry, including 8 years in Digital. His creative work has been recognised and awarded at Digital Media Awards, Cannes Cyber Lions, Golden Spiders, Kinsale Sharks, and ICAD amongst others.

He has worked for many of Ireland’s most popular brands including Universal Music, ptsb, eircom, Bulmers, and Jameson Irish whiskey. Ian is currently on the board of ICAD, The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design.

Ger is a Multimedia graduate from IADT and Trinity College Dublin. He has worked as an online games developer, a web designer, and most recently as a creative technologist.

He has done work for Bulmers, Jameson, Spin 1038, 98FM, ptsb, Paramount Pictures, and Focus Ireland.
